The ShareAI protocol

ShareAI is a marketplace for idle AI subscription capacity. It starts as a centralized relay and evolves toward on-chain settlement, self-hosted provider nodes, and peer-to-peer routing — settling value in USDC on Solana at every stage.

Relay routing

A single OpenAI-compatible endpoint routes each request to the best available provider by price, load, and success rate.

Usage billing

Requests are metered per token. Consumers prepay in USDC; the ledger is the single source of truth for every balance.

USDC settlement

Provider earnings accrue per request and settle on Solana automatically once they cross the $1 threshold.

Roadmap

  1. 1

    Centralized relay

    Live

Provider/consumer marketplace, OpenAI-compatible API, USDC usage billing, and a 90/10 revenue split.

  2. 2

    On-chain settlement

    Planned

Solana programs escrow and split provider earnings, removing trust from the payout path.

  3. 3

    Self-hosted nodes

    Planned

Providers run their own nodes with decentralized routing and reputation scoring.

  4. 4

    P2P + ZK verification

    Research

A peer-to-peer matching engine with zero-knowledge proofs for verifiable usage accounting.
